About Us

Diane Barnard, a California native, with a strong background in teaching, agriculture, and community relations, joined the team in 2015. Being raised on a farm built from the ground up taught Diane the meaning of very hard work, team effort, integrity, and making each dollar count. She received her Bachelor Degree and Masters of Science degrees from Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, California. She is a Licensed Texas Real Estate Agent and member of the National Association of Realtors and Central Texas MLS.

Diane has been credited with the innate ability to understand the needs of others and works tirelessly to make sure those needs are met. Over the years, she has dedicated her time to a number of community organizations and currently plays an active role at her children’s school. She is the mother of four wonderful children, Brooke, Bryant, Bailey, and Brett and married to her best friend, Brad Barnard. Grateful for the amazing welcome she received upon marrying Brad and moving to the San Marcos area, Diane wants to make sure new residents and all people living in the area feel as welcome as she has been.

Traci has been a member of Barnard Realty Group since 2020. A graduate from Texas A&M University with both a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, she brings a wealth of diverse experience having lived and taught Internationally for 25+ years. As a Grade Level Leader while overseas, Traci’s experience working in a group environment, assists our team internally to support our clients and business contractors.

In keeping with the team's tradition, Traci married her high school sweetheart and best friend Steve who met when they both attended high school in Indonesia. Since retiring, Traci and Steve have now made San Marcos their home along with their Labradoodle Hank. In her off-time she enjoys cycling, working on their property, and spending time with their children and new grandbaby.

Laila grew up in Sugar Land, Texas and moved to San Marcos for university in 2010. She fell in love with the small town charm, the spring-fed river, and the culture here. After graduating from Texas State with a Bachelor of Science and teaching degree, she decided to explore the East and lived in Thailand for 3 years.

Laila moved back to San Marcos to be closer to family and purchased a home near the river. After teaching for 7 years, she moved on to property management where she found passion putting her management skills and attention to detail to work! She looks forward to bringing her love for San Marcos and for helping others to the team. In her spare time, Laila enjoys cooking, traveling, yoga, and spending time in nature.
